A video game adaptation and a spinoff comic series were released in 1995. The series focused on the Manhattan Clan, which included their leader Goliath, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway and Hudson. Gargoyles began as an animated series that ran for three seasons from 1994 to 1997 and followed a species of nocturnal creatures known as gargoyles that turned to stone during the day and protected the city at night. While Goliath comes with expanded wings, fans looking for some variety can purchase the Bronx figure for the draped wings and other accessories.

The Ultimate Goliath figure retails for $32.99 is now available for purchase. The Ultimate Goliath figure was announced by NECA in March 2021 and will be part of a line of five figures based on characters from the series. Both figures will be available in early 2022.

The first included a full gallery of photos for an upcoming Demona figure, as well as the final packaging photos for the Ultimate Thailog action figure. Bronx isn't the only Gargoyle figure to be revealed during this event. The wings can be positioned to not obscure that much, I bet.The Bronx figure was revealed as part of NECA Toys' 31 Nights of Fright event, where every night of October the company unveils a new, upcoming figure. Mine will probably go on my bookcase in front of the books. With my expenditures on TFs I am glad I don't have to spend an extra 35$ each month for these.Īnd I dunno, I would not put them in a detolf, those things are notoriously bad use of space, given the extreme length of each "shelf". Initially, I was okay with it, but Goliath is going to take up a single Detolf quite a bit on his own and I don't have the room to dedicate more than one shelf to Gargoyles.Guess you never heard of "good things are worth waiting for? " I don't mind if they don't release a toy every month. They should have done the entire main Gargoyle cast before going into the clone route. They said they were going to reveal one figure a month and in the last several months they only revealed two, Demona and Thailog, and one of those is obviously a repaint of Goliath. Sadly, I'm starting to lose my excitement for the Gargoyles line.
